I made a cupcake hat for a friend using the pattern from The Naked Sheep. It’s meant to be for an infant but I knit it as the pattern said but on needles one size larger and it fits my friend’s head although it is a bit tight.

I used some Bernat acrylic yarn in brown for the base and Bernat Satin in pink for the icing, with some red scraps for the cherry. I used size 10 (6mm) circular needles. In retrospect, I should have adjusted the pattern for an adult head because although it fits, it looks a bit weird because the top doesn’t overflow from the base, like a normal cupcake. Also, the difficult thing about this hat is making the nubbles. And there are so many of them! Seriously, at that row, I was ready to give up!
